  • In Gaza, more than 100,000 refugees
continue to struggle without adequate shelter to stay safe and warm during the cold winter months. This is while also contending with the crippling nine year siege, and the aftermath of the devastating 2014 assault . Tragically, at least three children froze to death last winter due to inadequate shelter. As the situation continues to deteriorate, the same could happen again this year.
  • The winter months will be just as devastating for Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and refugee camps in
    Jordan and Lebanon.
Millions of Palestinian refugees are already living in
abject poverty. The colder temperatures and heavy rain could destroy
even more homes and lives, and endanger the health and well-being of the most
    vulnerable.
  • Syrian refugees continue to
deal with conflict, insecurity and trauma. It is not an overstatement to say
that winter adds a whole new level of misery to those already struggling.
